Life isn’t just about the time we spend—it’s about what we do with that time. This page is a personal collection of goals, dreams, and experiences I hope to pursue over the course of my life. Some are simple. Some are ambitious. Others may take years to accomplish. But all of them reflect a desire to live with intention, to grow, and to create a life filled with purpose, challenge, and meaning.
This isn’t about chasing perfection or impressing anyone—it’s about putting into words the things that matter to me. It’s a way of staying accountable to myself, of dreaming out loud, and of reminding myself that there’s always more to explore, more to learn, and more to become. Some of these goals are deeply personal. Others are just for fun. But each one represents a step toward becoming the person I want to be.
I’ll be updating this list over time—adding new aspirations, marking off completed ones, and sharing reflections as I go. Whether I accomplish everything or not isn’t the point. The point is to try. To move forward. To turn intention into action.
If you’re reading this, maybe it will inspire you to start your own list. Or maybe you’ll just get to know me a little better by reading mine. Either way, thank you for being here as I work toward building a life that feels true to who I am—one goal, one dream, one step at a time.
Rocky Mountain Express
One of the experiences at the top of my list is taking the Rocky Mountain Express with my wife—a breathtaking journey through some of Canada’s most stunning landscapes. It’s not just about the views (though they’re incredible); it’s about sharing a peaceful, once-in-a-lifetime adventure together, side by side, watching the world unfold through panoramic windows as we create lasting memories on the rails
Dad’s Final Ride
One journey that holds deep meaning for me is Dad’s Final Ride—a cross-country trip from the Staples parking lot in New Minas all the way to Vancouver and back. This isn’t just about the miles or the scenery; it’s a tribute, a mission, and a call to action. I want to take this ride in honour of my father, raising awareness for diabetes and men’s mental health—two causes that have impacted my life in powerful ways. Every stop along the way will be a chance to remember, reflect, and hopefully inspire others to open up, reach out, and take care of themselves and each other.
Watch the Blue Jays
One of the experiences I’ve always dreamed of is watching a Blue Jays game live in Toronto. There’s something special about being right there in the stadium—feeling the energy of the crowd, hearing the crack of the bat, and cheering alongside thousands of fans. It’s more than just a game to me—it’s about being part of a moment, soaking in the atmosphere, and finally experiencing in person what I’ve only seen through a screen. It’s a bucket list dream I look forward to turning into a memory.
Watch the Montreal Canadiens
As a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan, my heart will always bleed blue and white—but even I have to admit that the Bell Centre in Montreal is a place of legend. Watching a Canadiens game live in that iconic arena is a dream rooted in respect for the history, the rivalry, and the sheer passion of the sport. To witness the roar of the crowd, the intensity on the ice, and the energy that only Montreal can bring would be unforgettable. It’s not about switching sides—it’s about honoring the game, and experiencing one of hockey’s greatest stages firsthand.
Attend Cirque du Soleil
One dream experience I’ve always wanted to cross off my list is attending a live performance by Cirque du Soleil. Their shows are nothing short of breathtaking—a perfect blend of art, athleticism, music, and storytelling that leaves you in awe from start to finish. Every performance is a celebration of human potential and imagination, and I can only imagine how powerful it would be to witness that magic unfold in person. It’s not just entertainment—it’s an experience that stays with you.
Deep Sea Fishing
One adventure I’ve always wanted to experience is deep sea fishing. There’s something incredibly peaceful and powerful about heading far out into open waters, surrounded by nothing but sky and sea. It’s not just about the thrill of the catch—it’s about the calm, the challenge, and the connection to nature. To feel the pull of something beneath the waves, to work for it, and to be part of that moment out on the deep would be unforgettable. It’s a chance to unplug, breathe deep, and embrace the wild in its purest form.
White Point Beach Resort
One of the getaways I dream of is spending a weekend—or even a full week—at White Point Beach Resort with just my “wife”. Life moves fast, and taking time to slow down together in a beautiful, peaceful place by the ocean feels like the perfect way to reconnect. Whether it’s walking the beach hand in hand, sitting by the fire, or simply enjoying each other’s company without distractions, White Point offers the kind of quiet, romantic escape we both deserve. It’s not just a vacation—it’s a chance to breathe, to love, and to make memories that are all our own.
Summer Overlanding
One of the biggest dreams I hold close is to spend an entire summer overlanding with the kids—just us, the open road, and the adventure that comes with it. It’s not about fancy destinations or rushing to get somewhere; it’s about the journey, the campfires, the laughs, and the lessons learned along the way. I want to show them the beauty of nature, the value of slowing down, and the joy of being present together without the distractions of everyday life. It’s a chance to bond, to explore, and to give them memories that will last a lifetime.
Bring ThinkerCast online
One goal I’m truly passionate about is getting ThinkerCast up and running—a platform where ideas, conversations, and curiosity take center stage. It’s more than just a podcast or content series; it’s a space for thoughtful exploration, meaningful dialogue, and diving deep into the topics that matter. I envision ThinkerCast as a place where people can learn, reflect, and feel inspired to think more deeply about the world around them.
To start it off right, I’d love to record the very first episode in Pugwash—a quiet, meaningful location with its own rich history of peace and reflection. There’s something symbolic about beginning this journey in a place known for thoughtful gathering. It would be the perfect backdrop for launching something built on curiosity, insight, and the pursuit of understanding.
Address the Nova Scotia Legislature
One of the things I’ve always wanted to do is stand before the Nova Scotia Legislature and speak directly to the issues facing our province. Not for politics or applause—but to give voice to the real struggles people are facing every day. Whether it’s about healthcare, housing, mental health, or renewable energy, I want the chance to speak truth to power and advocate for a better, fairer future. It’s about showing up, being heard, and trying to make a difference in the place I call home.
McVay bluenose sloop
When I was a kid, we had a McVay Bluenose sloop—and some of my most peaceful memories come from being out on the water in that little sailboat. There was something about the quiet, the rhythm of the waves, and the way the wind carried us that made the world feel still and right. I’ve always dreamed of getting another one someday—not just for the nostalgia, but to recapture that deep sense of calm and connection that only sailing can bring. It’s not just a boat—it’s a piece of my soul I’d love to return to.
Driving a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley
One of the luxuries I’ve always dreamed of experiencing is spending a day—or even a weekend—driving a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley. There’s something timeless and iconic about these cars: the craftsmanship, the power, the presence. It’s not just about the drive, but the feeling of stepping into something built with such precision and elegance. For me, it’s about savoring that once-in-a-lifetime experience of cruising in absolute comfort and style, even if just for a moment.
Address the Parliament of Canada
Another lifelong dream of mine is to one day address the Parliament of Canada. To stand in that historic chamber—not as a politician, but as a citizen—and speak from the heart about the challenges and hopes of everyday Canadians. I want to shine a light on the real issues people face across the country: affordability, access to healthcare, climate action, mental health, and equity. It’s not about titles or power—it’s about using my voice to represent those who often go unheard, and to remind our leaders of the human stories behind every policy.
Eat at a one of Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurants
One of the culinary experiences on my bucket list is enjoying a meal at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. As someone who admires both the artistry and precision of fine cooking, sitting down to a dish crafted by his team would be a dream come true. It’s not just about the celebrity name—it’s about tasting world-class food, appreciating the detail and discipline behind every plate, and experiencing the kind of dining that leaves a lasting impression. Just once, I’d love to savor that level of excellence.
Visit Space
One of the biggest, boldest dreams on my bucket list is to visit space. Just the thought of leaving Earth’s atmosphere, seeing the curve of the planet from above, and floating in zero gravity fills me with awe. It’s not just about the thrill—it’s about perspective. To look down on our world from the silence of space would be the ultimate reminder of how small we are, how connected we all are, and how precious life really is. It’s the kind of experience that changes you forever—and one I hope to have in my lifetime.
Beef Jerky MEGA HAUL
One of the simpler—and most delicious—things on my bucket list is to buy an entire bag of beef jerky just for myself. No sharing, no saving some for later—just guilt-free, all-mine snacking. It might sound small, but it’s about the joy of indulging in something I love without compromise. Sometimes, the little dreams are the most satisfying ones.
Custom Light Saber
One of the coolest dreams on my bucket list is owning a fully customized lightsaber. Not just a toy—but a high-quality, handcrafted piece built to reflect my style, story, and connection to the Star Wars universe. Whether it’s for display, cosplay, or just to feel that childhood thrill come to life, having my own lightsaber would be like holding a piece of legend in my hands. It’s the ultimate symbol of imagination, fandom, and the force that still lives in all of us.
